About the Neuroscience20 Summit
Neuroscience20 (N20) is the global policy summit convening leaders in brain, spine, and mental health across G20 nations. Launched in 2014 by the Society for Brain Mapping & Therapeutics, N20 aligns with the United States’ BRAIN Initiative and ongoing mental health policy agenda to accelerate the translation of neurotechnology into clinical practice.
The summit brings together policymakers, scientists, engineers, physicians, surgeons, universities, investors, and globally recognized research institutions to advance the development and deployment of clinical solutions for neurological disorders, conditions that affect more than three billion people and cost the global economy hundreds of billions of dollars annually.
What Is the G20?
The Group of Twenty (G20) is an intergovernmental forum that connects the world’s major economies.
Its membership brings together 19 countries, the African Union, and the European Union to coordinate international dialogue on economic stability, sustainable development, innovation, and shared global challenges.
Neuroscience20 brings brain, spine, mental health, and NeuroTech into this wider policy conversation. Through PharmaTech, CellTech, BioTech, AI Tech, and FinTech, N20 creates a global platform where policymakers, scientists, clinicians, investors, and industry leaders can turn scientific progress into practical impact.

Society for Brain Mapping and Therapeutics
A global multidisciplinary nonprofit founded in 2004 by Babak Kateb, Farzad Massoudi, and Warren Grundfest, uniting physicians, scientists, engineers, policymakers, and industry to advance brain and spinal cord mapping and image-guided therapeutics.
