Years of Brain Mapping & Therapeutics
The Human Impact

Behind every breakthrough is a person.

For more than two decades, SBMT and WBMF have brought together science, medicine, engineering, neurotechnology, philanthropy and humanitarian action.

These stories show what happens when that ecosystem reaches beyond the laboratory — into hospitals, veteran communities, humanitarian missions and the lives of patients and advocates.

2003 NASA/JPL meeting marks the beginning of the brain mapping movement.
2004 Society for Brain Mapping & Therapeutics formally founded.
2009+ Veterans health, nano-bio-electronics, policy and global initiatives expand.
2027 24 years of the movement — continuing toward the next generation of brain health.
